    Naval Science Instructor 

     
          I am entering my 13th year as the Mustangs Naval Science Instructor.  Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, I enlisted in the World’s Greatest Navy six days after graduating Linden High School in Linden, N.J. June 1988.  Twenty years of service led to retirement with the following tours of duty: Keflavik, Iceland, Jacksonville, Fl., Key West, Fl., Brunswick, Me., Meridian, Ms., along with five Mediterranean and Persian Gulf deployments onboard the Aircraft carriers USS Forrestal, America, and George Washington.  I am a graduate of Columbia College and  Completed my Master’s Degree from Websters University in Leadership and Managment and Human Resources.  I've been married for 28 years and have two daughters Courtney and Nia both Mustang Alum.
     
         For those curious to know what AZ1 means it is: Aviation Maintenance Administrationman First Class!  It relates to my rate/mos (job) while in the Navy.
