     Kristin Seckinger

In 1995 I attended Effingham County High School as a freshman then transferred to South Effingham High School in 1996 when the schools split.  I played on the very first South Effingham High School varsity softball, basketball, and track team. We won region every year in softball and got third in state and also went to state in basketball.

In 1999 I received a softball scholarship to Coastal Georgia Community College then transferred to University of Georgia.  After UGA I transfered to Armstrong Atlantic State University and graduated cum laude with my bachelors in health science in 2006 and masters of science in sports medicine in 2008.  In 2010 I became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

In 2002, while in college, I started working at The Shellhouse Restaurant.  After graduation I started working at Spine and Sport where I was a physical therapy aide and a personal trainer/strength specialist.  In 2017 I started working at Marlow Elementary as a kindergarten paraprofessional and then got a job as the health and physical education teacher there in 2018.  While at Marlow I have also helped coached the South Effingham High School Lady Mustangs softball team for the past three years.
