BES Field Day will begin at 8:30 AM on Friday, May 14th. Parents are invited to attend this event, but are asked to please remain outside of the building. Parents are not allowed into the classrooms. We also ask any adult who will be attending our Field Day to please wear a mask. Please remember that Water Stations are a part of our Field Day fun, so many parents choose to send in a towel and a dry change of clothes with their students on this day. Also note that Concessions will be sold for $1.00 per item. Thank you!
On Monday, May 17th, graduating High School Seniors will visit BES from 7:55-8:15 A.M. for a "Senior Legacy Walk" through the school. These Seniors are former Blue Jays who were Fifth Graders at BES in years prior. Our current Blue Jays will line the hallways and cheer on our graduating Seniors! We are so proud of our former Blue Jay student Graduates!
BES INTERNATIONAL ARTS FESTIVALBES will have our annual International Arts Festival on Friday, May 21st. Unfortunately due to COVID rules, parents are not invited to attend this year's festival. The festival will be videotaped and the link will be shared with everyone as soon as it is ready. We are also not asking for donations to our Art and Music programs this year as we have in years past. Student artwork is currently being displayed around the school. Please ask your students to tell you which country they are learning about and what they have learned about the culture of that country. We are proud to celebrate all cultures here at Blandford Elementary School!
