    Dear SEES Parents,

Friday, October 2nd is Picture Day for traditional and virtual learning students. Traditional learning students’ pictures will be taken during the school day. Virtual learning students’ pictures will be taken after school starting at 3:00pm.   Parents will line up under the awning in front of the school. The student will get out of the car, step into the foyer, have their picture taken, and exit out to their parent’s car.  Once the car in front of the line exits, the next student may enter the school and so on. We ask that parents and students do not congregate on the porch for the purposes of social distancing. Only one child and their parent will be allowed on the porch at a time, and only the student will be allowed to enter the building. Parents may stand on the porch and have a visual of their child getting their picture taken in the foyer. Pictures will begin at 3:00pm and end at 4:00pm.

Picture Day is a dress down day. We want to emphasize the following reminders so that everyone is clear on dress code expectations:

    •  Clothing should be free of rips , holes and cuts
    •  Dresses, skirts or shorts should be no more than 4 inches above the bend in the back of the knee
    •  Clothing or accessories should not display inappropriate or suggestive language or graphics
    •  Students' shoes should be closed heel and closed toe shoes (with no flip flops, crocs, etc.)

The make-up Picture Day will be November 10th. Traditional learning students’ pictures will be taken during the school day, and virtual learning students’ pictures will be taken after school starting at 3:00pm and ending at 4:00pm.

    Thank you,

    South Effingham Elementary School
