Mrs. W. DiSalvo...
I was born near Minneapolis, Minnesota and lived there until I was nine years old. I then moved to Pennsylvania, near Pittsburgh, and lived there through my high school graduation. I went to college at Frostburg State University in Maryland and graduated with a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I have since gotten my Master's Degree from Nova Southeastern University and my Specialist Degree from the University of West Alabama.
I I have been married for twenty-seven years to a wonderful husband named Karl and we have two beautiful daughters. Kaleigh is in a senior, dual-enrolling at Georgia Southern, and Alyssa is beginning her career as a nurse in the Pediatric Special Care Unit at Memorial Hospital in Savannah.
This is my 22nd year of teaching, and my 17th year at Marlow. I have taught sixth grade, kindergarten, and first grade. This is my fourth year as a Reading Recovery teacher. I thoroughly enjoy working here at Marlow!
