     Profession National Sales Executive,
    Merchant's Credit Bureau

Vickie Godley Decker, raised in Bloomingdale, Georgia, has spent much of her life working and serving in the local community. She graduated from Savannah Christian Preparatory School in 1993 and subsequently earned her Bachelor’s degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University. After several years in the Finance industry, Mrs. Decker accepted the opportunity to work with Merchants Credit Bureau (MCB). Now twenty-four years later, she continues to serve with MCB where she has earned her current position as a National Sales Executive. Today, she is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Savannah, a non-profit organization for which she previously served as president. Mrs. Decker has proudly represented District 5 of the Effingham County school system as their Board member since 2008.

While Vickie’s career gives her a great sense of satisfaction, her true joy is the family she has built with her husband, Steven Decker. Vickie and Steven married in 2001 and have built and raised their family in Effingham County for over twenty years. They share four beautiful children (Steven, Kaelyn, Jacob and Addison) who were born, raised, and educated right here in Effingham County. Steven and Kaelyn each graduated from Effingham County High School, and Jacob and Addison are following in their older siblings’ footsteps. Jacob is currently enjoying his sophomore year at the Effingham STEM Academy, and the youngest, Addison, has begun her seventh grade year at Ebenezer Middle School.

Mrs. Decker’s greatest pleasure is spending time with her family. She enjoys family vacations to the lake, church services at Compassion Christian Church’s Effingham Campus, Sunday dinners, going out in the boat on the weekends, and creating precious memories with her grandson, Peyton, that include playing dinosaurs and reading books.
