Hi!  I am a native of Effingham County, graduating from E.C.H.S.  (Go Rebels!)  After high school, I attended Armstrong State University where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education in 2000.  I earned my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction in June 2007.  I earned an endorsement in gifted education several years ago.   This is my 16th year teaching mathematics at E.M.S.  I was honored by my peers being named Ebenezer's Teacher of the Year for the 2017-2018 school year.  I currently serve as the Mathematics Department Head at Ebenezer Middle.

I have a big, beautiful blended family.  My husband Pete and I have six boys between the two of us:  Tyler (28), Austin (23), AJ (21), Avery (20), Dustin (19), and little big Ben (10).

I am excited about working at EMS with such a supportive group of administrators, staff, and parents.  This year, that is more true than ever.  While I should have taught many of your students in January of 2021, my husband's medical battles took me out of the classroom.  I am so thankful to say he is recovering very well!  I look forward to a wonderful new school year.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or comments that you may have.
