Benefits Service Center
The Effingham County Schools Benefits Service Center is available to help you at any time with benefits questions, claims inquiries, qualifying life events, and life insurance beneficiary updates. The Benefits Service Center may also assist with general State Health Benefit Plan inquiries, new hire enrollment, and Annual Open Enrollment for your voluntary benefits. Call 1-844-249-ECSD (3273) from 8am to 6pm Monday – Thursday and Friday from 8am to 5pm EST.
Teacher’s Retirement System of Georgia (TRS) and Public School Employees Retirement System of Georgia (PSERS) are established by the Georgia legislature. The governing boards determine the plan design and employee contribution amounts. Effingham County Board of Education provides the payroll deductions for your contribution and other administrative support.
