I am joining the faculty and staff at South Effingham High School as a Healthcare Science Instructor and HOSA Advisor. I am entering in to my 3rd year of teaching Healthcare Science. I received my degree in Applied Science. My first career before making the transition to Education was in Healthcare for about 11 years. I have proven my education, knowledge, and experiences effectively and efficiently in my role as a NCMA, NCTT, PBT II, CRC in Cardiology, Urology, Ophthalmology, Laboratory, and Clinical Research in Psychiatric.

I am originally from Indiana, but lived in Fort Myers Florida for 6 years before moving to Savannah Georgia. I am married to Mr. Justin Long who is one of the Physical Education Teachers and Assistant Football and Basketball Coach at South Effingham High. GO MUSTANGS!! We have been married for 15 years, together for 17 years and have a 7 year old son named Raiden. 

I am excited to be apart of the Effingham County School District and South Effingham High School family. I am looking forward to meeting each and everyone of my students and having a great 22-23 school year!
