Welcome to 7th Grade Social Studies! This class will focus on the regions of Southwest Asia, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Within each of these regions, we will take a more in-depth look at a few countries to learn what types of governments and economies are found there, historical events, and the major physical and political features in those locations. I aim to make learning about these areas informative and fun and encourage students to think about how occurrences in these regions have and continue to impact people in the United States.

I am a native of Statesboro, Georgia. This is my fifth school year as a teacher. I began my teaching career at Effingham County Middle School, where I taught for three years. This included 7th & 6th grade Social Studies and 6th grade Science.  For the 2021-2022 school year, I taught 7th Grade Science at Langston Chapel Middle School. This year I am very excited to be at Ebenezer teaching 7th Grade Social Studies, which I enjoy!
