Hello All!

My name is Matthew Ellis and I teach Social Studies here at ECHS.  I have been teaching at the high school level since 2009.  I am originally from Homewood, Alabama but I spent most of my youth in the metro-Atlanta area.  I did my undergraduate work Georgia Southern, where I gained an appreciation and fondness for this area.  I am very excited to be here at ECHS, which is an amazing high school.  I hope everyone in Effingham County is as proud and impressed with ECHS and its students as I am!
