Mrs. Kaye Lamb
Welcome to my fourth grade classroom!  I am excited to spend the year with you and your family!  I would like to introduce myself and my family.
I am originally from Newnan, Georgia.  My parents later moved us to Vidalia, Georgia. That is where I graduated from high school.  I attended Brewton Parker College and earned an Associate Arts Degree.  I finished my undergraduate work at Carson Newman College in Tennessee.  I later earned my Masters at Georgia Southern University.
This is my 35th year teaching.  I began teaching in second grade back in my hometown of Newnan.  (And for those of you who have asked - no, I did not go to school with Alan Jackson.  However, I did teach with his sister Carol at Northside Elementary!...and bought my gas at Hemrick's across the road from his mama's house : })  I earned my gifted endorsement from West Georgia College.
Three years later I moved to Savannah and was married.  I taught as a resource gifted teacher in Savannah for fifteen years.  I worked in grades K-8.  My family moved here to Effingham in 2003 and I am blessed to be here at Ebenezer!
My husband and I have three children, two daughters and a son.  We attend Rincon First Baptist Church.  Our extended family includes our pets, Butkus (dog), Thor (dog), Lulu (dog), Phoebe (cat), Maggie (cat), Claire (cat) and Lucy (rabbit).  Life is a zoo!
