I am excited about beginning my 3rd year with enCompass Academy as the Assistant Coordinator. I have enjoyed 26 years as an educator with the Effingham County School District. I have taught pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and third grade at Sand Hill Elementary School and Blandford Elementary School. In 2014, I became the Instructional Supervisor/Assistant Principal of Springfield Elementary School.

As a native of Effingham County and a graduate of ECHS, I take pride in our school district. ECSD is not only a great place for students to learn, it is an amazing place to work. At enCompass Academy, we are proud to have a program that serves not only the students, but the families as well. 

This year, I will continue my role as the testing coordinator and will focus on curriculum and instruction. Ms. Boyett and I have worked closely with district personnel to ensure that the students of enCompass Academy will receive support in academics as well as social/emotional learning. 

I am extremely excited about the changes happening at enCompass Academy. Not only has our building received a facelift, we have many new initiatives to share with our program family.
