Degrees and Certifications:
I was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. I attended middle and high school at Savannah Christian Preparatory School and loved every minute of it! I started college at Mercer University with all intentions of being a pharmacist, then decided that wasn't for me and that I wanted to be a math teacher! So I came back down I-16 to go to Armstrong Atlantic State University where I was the captain of the cheerleading squad and graduated in May 2009 with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics.
I was just recently married and I am the proud mother of an eight year old daughter Ansley Kate and a two year old son Kellen. We just adopted an Australian Shepherd puppy and named him Chipper (we are big Braves fans!) This is my 12th year teaching and South Effingham is my home! I am currently the director of the Miss SEHS Scholarship Pageant.
