I would like to begin by telling you a little about myself. I worked as a secretary for sixteen years within the local county government of Appling County. After relocating to Effingham County in 2005, I worked as a financial secretary for a local church while I pursued my education dreams. I graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I taught 4th grade for four years in Chatham County. I also have worked as a substitute teacher in Effingham County during two school terms. This is my third year at Marlow and I am excited to be joining such a caring group of people. I am married to a wonderful guy, his name is Terry. We enjoyed foster parenting for many years, but we are currently embracing being empty nesters. When I am not planning lessons or grading papers, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and engaging in "light" exercise. I have a true passion for learning. My desire is to help each person in which I am privileged to teach grow as a learner and as a person of good character.
