Can I bring in cupcakes for my child's birthday?
Yes, please drop them by the front office before 10:30. You may bring cupcakes or any other snack that your child enjoys (doughnuts, cookies, etc). We will eat these during lunchtime that day.

What do I do if I want to eat lunch with my child?

    When is ice cream day?
Ice cream day is Wednesday. The cost is $1. Please send EXACT change.  You can prepay at the beginning of the year for $30...the last day to do so is August 31st

What can I do to volunteer in my child's class?
We have a VIP training that is required by the state for all volunteers working with students during the school day. This training takes place each month. If you would like the next dates for training please let me know!

My child has completed his/her reading log. When will he/she get their reward?
We count books as often as possible. We will hand out rewards as needed for every completed log.

How often can my child get a book from the library?
We typically visit the library weekly as a class. Students are encouraged to always bring their book on this day (refer to your newsletter for the particular day). They will receive a sticker for exhibiting 'Good Book Behavior' when we go to the library as a class and they return their book undamaged. On other days students may go to the library as time allows to return and check out new books. When your child has finished reading his or her book please send it back to school and we will try to get them to the library that day to check out a new book.

Can my child check out more than one book?
When children grow and mature later in the year they are allowed to check out 2 books. Parents may apply for a library card and check out more books if you wish. The library is open during school hours only.
