• Effingham County Middle School Track and Field Eligibility Requirements

     

    Girls Track Tryouts will be on January 26th & 27th, 2023 after school until 5:30pm. Boys Track Tryouts will be on January 23rd & January 25th, 2023 after school until 5:30. Athletes will leave class at the car rider bell and dress out in the locker rooms. They will meet Coach Flowers and Coach Conte in the gym. Athletes will need to be picked up at ECHS at 5:30 by the football field. 

     

     

    1. Cannot fail more than one class for the semester prior to the season.

    2. Cannot miss over five total days (excused or unexcused) per semester.

    3. Must have an updated complete physical on file in Dragonfly. (Cannot participate in tryouts without a current physical on file.)

     
     
    2023 Track Practice Schedule
     
    Practice starts the week of January 30th until 6pm then on February 1st a parent meeting in the cafeteria for the boys.
    On February 2nd a parent meeting in the cafeteria for the girls.
     
    Practice days: 
    Mondays: Boys
    Wednesdays: Boys (not 2/15, 3/22- girls will practice on these days)
    Thursdays: Girls
    Fridays: Girls 
     
     
    All practices will be until 6 and all athletes must be picked up from the high school.
