"We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give."
Sir Winston Churchill
It has been my honor and privilige to "give" to the students of Effingham County for the past 28 years. I, my husband, and my children are all products of the Effingham County school system.
I graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and then started my career at Effingham County Middle School. I had the opportunity to teach 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Effingham County Middle School from 1992 - 2002. During this time I continued my educational path receiving a Masters in Educational Leadership from Georgia Southern University.
In 2002 I transferred to Ebenezer Middle School and continued my time in the classroom through 2005. At that time I began my career in administration, first serving as the Instructional Supervisor and later Assistant Principal at Ebenezer Middle School from 2005 - 2019. During this time I completed my Ed.S. in Performance Based Leadership at Valdosta State University.
In 2019, I returned to where it all began.....Effingham County Middle School. And, I'm once again proud to "prowl" with the Panthers.
It is my desire to ensure each and every chld has the opportunity to learn and grow during their time at ECMS.
