The ECSD IT Department offers wireless access (GuestInet) to student devices as a courtesy service for classroom and learning activities. By using this service, students must abide by the Internet Acceptable Use Policy (IAUP) as outlined in the Student/Parent Handbook. During periods in which access to wifi is critical to classroom activities (such as state testing), the GuestInet service may be temporarily disabled to conserve internet access and speed.

 

As discussed in the IAUP, students who try to bypass safety restrictions or seek to connect their devices to the password-protected ECSD or Chromebooks networks will have their devices blocked from all wireless services for an unspecified period of time.
