    Tricia Kerrpencil
Hi!  My name is Tricia Kerr, and I am a special education teacher in the behavior support classroom for grades 3-5.  I have been teaching for thirteen years, and this is my sixth year in Effingham County Schools at Sand Hill Elementary.  I am thrilled to be here and am looking forward to a fabulous year!
I have had the opportunity to teach in several places.  I started my career in my hometown of Altoona, Pennsylvania.  Five years later, I moved to Killeen, Texas to teach in the Fort Hood Area.  Now, I  have the wonderful opportunity to teach in Effingham Georgia!
My education started at Penn State University, where I earned a Bachelors degree in Special Education.  I then earned a Masters degree in Education from Saint Francis University.  I am also a certified Autism specialist.
I am a very proud mommy to six-year-old Harper May who attends first grade at Sand Hill.
I love working with children and feel so rewarded watching them achieve success.  I hope to teach all of my students to work hard and always be kind.
