Distance Learning Assignments

  • You can find your assignments each day in a number of places.  They are listed in the calendar right here on my webpage while we are out on this school closure.  You can also click on the Learning Targets to see what is expected of you each day.  And the best way to keep up with science while we are out is to check in daily with your Google Classroom.

  • We will be using Google Classroom throughout the school year.  Your child should know how to log into their classroom to view assignments, submit assignments, and link to other assignments.  To join the correct class, the students can add Mrs. Zeigler's Physical Science class to their list of Google Classroom classes by entering the correct code below.

    1st period - mc50fbu

    2nd period - itk72ma

    Mrs. Zeigler's Grading Policy-

My goal is to teach your student to be successful in physical science and hopefully gain an appreciation for science concepts, if not a love of science.  Therefore, I have the following grading policy for my classroom:

For all regular classwork grades, I do not enter a grade lower than a 50 in my gradebook as long as effort is shown.  The only way to earn a zero is to not complete the assignment at all or to miss every single problem and.

Classwork counts as 40% of the student's overall 9 weeks grade.

Homework is 10% of the student's overall grade for the 9 weeks.

    Tests are 50% of a student's grade.
