Bobbie Tootle, Assistant Principal
I am Bobbie Tootle, and this is my second year as Assistant Principal. I have worked in the Effingham County school system for over ten years. I have been a Resource Coordinator and Family Liaison. I enjoyed six years in the classroom as a Special Education teacher. Education is a second career for me. My undergraduate degree is in Social Work from the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs! I have a Masters in Special Education from Armstrong State University (now Georgia Southern). I also had the privilege of being a part of Effingham's Leadership Academy. I am blessed to be a part of South Elementary.
South Elementary is special to me, because my sons attended here. We loved it, and I am blessed to be here to give back to the school who helped me form my sons' educational foundation. I am married to Kevin Tootle, a Savannah native. We have been married 27 years, and have lived in Effingham for most of that time. We have two sons - Malloy is 21 and Sam is 17.
I am exited to get to know you and your family. I am a strong believer that it takes all of us working together to give our students the best education. So, my door is always open.
