Welcome Parents and Students!
Allison Snooks, Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)!
Speech and language therapy is very beneficial in helping children have a happier and more productive life. Speech-Language Pathologists are involved with more than only working on speech sounds (articulation). We address language skills (understanding and expression/use), fluency (stuttering), voice (ex. harshness or hoarseness of vocal quality), phonology (the study of how sounds are organized), oral-motor (movement and strengthening of the oral structures for speaking); among other essential parts of communication. These techniques are very important to enhance communication skills in every day life! It takes "team work" for the success of each student!
