Daily reading is very important! Each night, students need to...
1) read the take-home books to an adult
2) reconstruct the cut-up story and read it to an adult
Parents need to sign the homework log after their child reads to them.
These books can also count toward your child's classroom reading!
Many Reading Recovery books are also AR books. Your child can take AR tests on these to help them reach their AR goal!
Books and homework logs are to be returned the following day.
Cut-up stories may be kept at home. Shoeboxes make a great storage place so that the students can continue to practice these stories.
