I graduated from ECHS in 2003 (Go Rebels!). I played Varsity softball all 4 years there. I was on the first fastpitch softball team ever to exist at ECHS. (We went to state playoffs that year!) =) I attended Georgia Southern University. I graduated in Dec. 2007 with a B.S.E.D. in Middle Grade Mathematics and Science. After I graduated, I became one of the permanent subs at ECMS until I was hired as a full time teacher for the 2008-2009 school year. I graduated April 2011 with my M.S.E.D. in Science K-8 from Walden University. I graduated August 2013 with my E.D.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.
I am presently the 7th grade Life Science Content Leader. I believe in the act of "Paying it Forward," so I host Georgia Southern University pre-service teachers so they can gain the experience needed for their own classroom. I am also apart of the Check and Connect Program, as well as the Mentor/Protege Teacher program.
My husband and I married in April of 2009. We celebrated the birth of our first child, John, in January 2011. We then celebrated the birth of our daughter, Sarah, in February 2015. Our children are truly blessings in our lives.
