• Thank you, parents.

As another school year comes to a close, I want to thank my parents/guardians who have supported and pushed their students to continue working to the end.  This is especially true of my senior parents, who are underappreciated by their children.  While I understand it has been a sturggle for some of you, given the changes that have taken place in the last two years.  Through your persistence and support you have a child who has achieved a major milestone in their life, and for which they will one day be grateful.  (Although, some of your children are already grateful, even if they do not always show it).

For the parents of underclassmen.  A huge thank you for helping your child to understand the importance of applying themselves to the task at hand, and for preparation for the future.  This will pay off in a few short years.

Congratulations to my outgoing students as they advance one step closer to their goal of graduation and then into the work world.

  • How to help my child

Parents that take and active role in encouraging daily attendance typically have students that will do better in class.  Discussion beyond 'how was your day," helps the student recall information studied and tells the student you are interested in how they are doing academically.

Teachers welcome feedback and input from parents.  This helps in preventing miscommunications and misunderstandings in information, and clarifys what is occurring in the classroom.

Please help me help your child.
