Keeping children safe online is a reality we as educators and parents face on a daily basis. We provide a controlled technology environment at school. Only direct links are used to gain access to safe Websites. Students are not allowed to do live searches which could give result links to undesirable sites. Students are not allowed to create online accounts at school. Our goal is to teach new technology in the safest manner possible.Please monitor your child's (children's) computer activities. You should know your child's (children's) user names and passwords for all online accounts: email, instant messaging, chat groups, social networking, blogging/posting, gaming sites, etc. Many sites require users to set up an account with personal information such as name, phone number, and address. Children can have a user account on your home computer with parental controls set. Parents can set web restrictions, time limits, game access, and block specific programs.Some Internet safety site links are given below:
