Since I’ve been at Sand Hill, I have obtained two advanced degrees: Masters in Middle Grades (Grades 4-8) Science and Specialist in Educational Technology (Grades K-12). In 2016, I was honored to be nominated by my peers to be Sand Hill Elemenatry's Teacher of the Year.

    Personal Information:
I grew up in Garden City and married James Edenfield in December 1994. We have been blessed with three children. Joshua is 22, Caleb is 20, and Beka is 15.  We have four dogs: Sammy, Rico, Ruger, and Luna. Joshua got married to Alissa last year and I now have my fiirst grandbaby, LJ. We attend Gateway Church in Bloomingdale and I serve at the First Time Guests desk each Sunday and on Wednesdays during Student Ministry. I enjoy going to the movies, shopping, and out to eat. I’m not much of a cook, but my husband has mad grilling skills! Every fall we enjoy tailgating at Georgia Southern home games. We are hoping to get to a few away games this season. So if you need me on the weekends from September through December, you will likely find me at Paulson Stadium or watching the game on TV. GOOOO Eagles! Keep your fingers crossed that we have a season.

I look forward to teaching again this year at Sand Hill Elementary. You are lucky that your child will be at the “little school with a big heart.” Rest assured that your child will be loved and cared for while in the walls of our awesome school.
