    Welcome!  I am Leslie Merritt, School Psychologist for the STEM Academy at ECCA.  This is my 19th year as a school psychologist in Effingham County where I have spent my entire career in education.  I am an Effingham County native and graduated from ECHS in 1997.  I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia and my Masters and Educational Specialist degrees in School Psychology from Georgia Southern University.  My husband, Justin, is a teacher at SEHS and we have two children.  Our son, Hunter, graduated from ECHS/STEM in 2021 and our daughter, Anna, is a sophomore at ECHS/STEM.  I love my job and the people I work with.  When I'm not working I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, traveling and watching Hallmark movies :)
