  • Parents' Right to Know

    Parents may request the following information regarding teacher qualifications as required by the "Every Student Succeeds" Act: Information regarding their student's classroom teacher's certificate or credentials, and/or college major and their graduate degree information. Parents may also request information regarding the licensing and training of paraprofessionals. Requests may be made in writing to the school principal or Mrs. Susan Hartzog, Director of Human Resources, Effingham BOE, 405 North Ash Street, Springfield, GA  31329.

  • Parker's Fueling the Community SUPPORT SPRINGFIELD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!

    Did you ever wish your favorite local school could receive additional funding to benefit students and enhance learning?

    The new Fueling the Community program at Parker’s donates one cent from every gallon of gas sold on the first Wednesday of every month at Parker’s locations throughout the area.

    If you are a PumpPal member, you can designate to Springfield Elementary School as your preferred recipient of charitable donations. Visit www.ParkerSav.com to add Springfield Elementary school code number to your PumpPal profile.

    Plus, remember that every time you buy gas at Parker’s on the first Wednesday of the month, you will help Springfield Elementary School.

    A note from our Principal
    In addition to quality instruction, SES provides thirty-one advanced technology classrooms. The students also benefit from two computer labs and several student computers in each classroom. A science lab is available for all hands-on learning experiences. Active learning and advanced technology classrooms increase motivation and participation to ensure that all students are actively engaged in the learning process. Read more
