    Exciting Breakfast & Lunch News!
    Beginning September 22nd, ALL STUDENTS, will receive a breakfast. Send them to the cafeteria as they arrive, just like we have been doing. EVERY STUDENT will receive a breakfast each day!
    Beginning September 22nd,  students who bring lunch from home will receive a Lunch Box Buddie. 
    Students can take packaged food home that they do not eat. 
    If parents have already put money on their student's account, they can request a refund from Ms. Cherri Huggins. Parents may want to leave money on the account for when the free lunch and breakfast program comes to an end.

    SES CURE Kick-Off

    September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month.  On Tuesday, September 15th SES will kick-off its 2020-2021 CURE Fundraising with our first even; Going GOLD for CURE.  This will be a two-part event beginning with students having the opportunity to purchase items listed below for $3 each.  To order, complete the form with money attached, and send to your child's homeroom teacher.  On Friday, September 18th students may dress down for a donation of $1!  All items below are available and will be sold this month while supplies last.  Please note below the number of itmes ordered and amount paid.

    Update: Due to the overwhelming response to our CURE Items Sale, we are completely sold out of CURE Necklaces. We have plenty of SES CURE bracelets and are receiving another shipment of Pom-Poms today. Thank you to everyone who continues to support this worthy cause. REMINDER: Students can DRESS DOWN for a $1 donation this Friday (9/18)!

  • Chromebook Request

    ***There are VERY LIMITED numbers of Chromebooks available for loan during the school day.  It is highly discouraged due to the fact that these would be shared items and could possibly spread infection.  Please sign up for your child to check out a chromebook from SES if your child will not be bringing one of his/her own.  This pertains to K-5 students.

    Please complete this form if your child will be participating in Grades K-5 IN-PERSON LEARNING at SES and you would like for your child to check out a chromebook to carry back and forth from school to home daily. Those doing Virtual Learning do not need to complete this form.

    In compliance with the requirements of the Every Students Succeeds Act, the Effingham County School System would like to inform you that you may request information about the professional qualifications of your student's teacher(s) and/ or paraprofessional(s). The following information may be requested: whether the student's teacher has met State qualification and licensing criteria for the grade levels and subject areas in which the teacher provides instruction; is teaching under emergency or other provisional status through which State qualification or licensing criteria have been waived; and is teaching in the field of discipline of the certification of the teacher. Whether the child is provided services by paraprofessionals and, if so, their qualifications. If you wish to request information concerning your child's teacher's and/ or paraprofessional's qualifications, please contact your child's school principal or you may contact Mrs. Susan Hartzog, Executive Director of Human Resources, at the Effingham County Board of Education at (912) 754-1119.

Puede solicitarse la siguiente información: Si el maestro del alumno: ha cumplido con la calificación y los requisitos para la licencia del Estado para los niveles del grado y las asignaturas en las que el maestro enseña; está enseñando en carácter provisional o de emergencia a través del cual no se exigen los requisitos para la licencia ni la calificación del Estado y está enseñando en el campo de la disciplina de la certificación del maestro. Si son paraprofesionales los que le brindan servicios al alumno y, de ser así, sus calificaciones. Si desea solicitar información sobre las calificaciones del maestro y/o paraprofesional de su hijo, comuníquese con el director de la escuela de su hijo o con la Sra.
