  • Graduation Test Registration
    Students who wish to take the Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT) and the Georgia High School Writing Test (GHSWT) may do so by completing an online registration form. The tests are offered on certain dates so be sure to check the testing schedule. View the registration page.

  • Diamond Girl Pageant
    The Miss ECHS Diamond Pageant and Jr. Miss Diamond Pageant, sponsored by the ECHS Baseball Booster Club, will be held on November 22nd. Entry Fee for Early Registration is $50
     
    Completed applications and entry fees are due to Mrs. Fears or Mrs. Baker at ECHS by November 7th.

  •  Homecoming Dance Information

     The dance is from 7-11.  Admission is $5, refreshments will be available, and a photographer will be there to take pictures.  Picture package information is in the front office.  If anyone has a date from another school they must see Mr. Ford this week to get their date approved.

As a community of learners, in cooperation with stakeholders, our mission is to provide rigorous and relevant instruction in a safe environment to enable all students to obtain a high school diploma as a foundation for post secondary success.
 
 
A note from our Principal
What really matters is not so much what students at Effingham County High School walk away with in their hands, but how many sparks we ignite in their hearts. There’s no doubt students want inspiration more than they want stuff. The caring faculty member, not the content, determines whether students at our school walk away ignited or extinguished.
