Welcome to Effingham County School's Central Registration Center!
We are located at 306 N Ash St in Springfield, Georgia
Thank you for choosing Effingham County Schools! Our Central Registration Center registers all students; those new to Effingham County and also those who have been off roll for 10+ consecutive days. Students transferring from one Effingham County School to another school in the county without missing 10+ consecutive days of school may directly report to the new school without going through Central Registration.
New student registration is a TWO STEP PROCESS:
STEP 1 - Registration: Please click below to make a registration appointment at the Central Registration Center. Appointments are absolutely REQUIRED from June 1st through the end of the first week of each school year. If registering to begin after a holiday or the first day of school, appointments are also critical. Walk-ins will be seen during other times as time becomes available between scheduled appointments.
You should come to your appointment with all required documents.
STEP 2 - Enrollment: After registering at the Central Registration Office, parents/guardians and students will visit the assigned school to enroll and obtain class assignments, schedules and other information unique to the school. The family MUST present the unopened packet of forms given at Central Registration. Otherwise, the student cannot be enrolled. Central Registration does not maintain copies of completed forms and documents. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to transport these documents.
The Required Registration Forms will be completed during your registration appointment. We encourage you to print and complete these documents prior to your arrival at the Central Registration Center. If you are unable to do so, copies will be provided for you to complete during your appointment. Forms are in the Adobe PDF format unless otherwise noted. Get the latest free Adobe Reader and you can also fill them out online before you print.
A form to name primary/secondary households, relationships of students to parents/guardians, list emergency contacts, complete migrant information (if necessary) and signature/date of enrolling parent. Complete one Household Registration Form per family.
Individual student information which includes current address, grade, enrollment history, medical/emergency information, special program information, residency information, home language survey and parent/guardian certifications with signature and date.
Healthcare action plans are required for students having certain serious medical conditions. These must be completed by a physician. If your child has another serious health condition not covered by one of these plans, please submit a customized plan.
