  • Transportation-
This year Guyton Elementary has over 680 students enrolled.  This makes the pick-up and drop off of students more difficult. We are asking you to be aware of our new pick up procedures and encouraging you to allow your child to ride the bus.

Car riders will not be released until 3:10.  Please do not line up early!  We are trying to keep traffic flowing off of Highway 17.  Parents may come in and pick up children, but must park on the far end of the school next to the teachers’ parking lot.  You must enter through the front doors and exit through the back side door.  Parents may wait in the cafeteria for students from 2:50 until the 3:05 bell rings.  Do not enter the hallways until students are cleared.  We are accountable for your child’s safety.   If you have any questions or concerns, please call the front office at 772-3384.

  • Visitors-

If you wish to drop off your child in the morning the building opens at 7:30.  Students may begin walking to class at 7:45.  Breakfast is served for K- 5 students beginning at 7:45 to 8:15 and Pre-K after 8:15.  All students must be in class to begin the instructional day by 8:15.  All parents are asked to exit the building at this time. Students arriving on campus after 8:15 must sign-in in the front office and are reported tardy for that day. Any parent wishing to speak to a teacher must report to the front office to make an appointment.  There will be limited interruptions during the instructional day.

A note from our Principal
Parents are invited to CRCT Family Night, where parents and children together complete activities to help children improve in all areas of the CRCT. Activities include making books together, exploring helpful websites in the Computer Lab, and taking a mock CRCT test together to name a few. Childcare is provided in order to allow the parent uninterrupted individual time with his/her child. Read more
