I am delighted to serve our students and staff at South Effingham Middle School. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2001. I have previously worked at Memorial Hospital on the in-patient surgery floor, and as an IV infusion nurse in a private practice. Working for the schools has afforded me more time to enjoy my favorite job, being a Mom. My husband and I have two wonderful boys, Cole and Clark, and a four-legged wrecking ball with fur named Buster.
My Clinic is located on the eighth grade hallway, Room 206. If you need to drop off medicine, I am in the clinic from 8:00 to 3:30 {during school hours} on school days. With the exception of cough drops, STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BRING ANY MEDICATIONS TO SCHOOL -- not even Tylenol or Motrin. All medicine brought to the clinic must be accompanied by a Medication Administration Permission form. You may print out and complete the Medication Administration Permission form and bring that with you to save time, or you may complete the form in the clinic when you bring in medication. This form, and others, may be found by clicking on "School Health Forms" at left.
