Hello Parents/Guardians,

The first half of the first nine weeks has been WONDERFUL! This e-mail is to inform you of a couple of things.

First - our first concert will be held on Thursday, October 7 at 7:00 PM. This will be a joint middle school and high school concert. We will have the concert at South Effingham HIGH School. The students should report to the chorus room at 6:30.
We will wear jeans and our new chorus t-shirt (which is the second item I need to tell you about.)

Second - we are going to order chorus t-shirts this year for both the middle school and the high school. The students will get a black shirt and a grey shirt (with the same design). The actual cost of each shirt is $6.00, but we are using part of the uniform rental money to help cover $2.00 of the cost for the students.  So for $10.00, each student will receive a grey and a black chorus shirt. You can view the shirt on the South Effingham High School's chorus web page.  I will try and also post it on the Middle School's chorus web page (if there is one right now). You may purchase a shirt or shirts for your own personal use to show your support if you like but we have to charge the full price ($6.00 per shirt) for any shirts that you order.  Please e-mail me or send word with your child, your name and the shirt size and color you would like to purchase.

Third - there are a few who still have not paid your child's uniform rental fee.  If you have talked with me about your situation then we are fine you do not have to talk with me again about this issue.
