  • Prom Information
Prom is Saturday, April 12th, at the Hyatt Harborside ballroom in Savannah.  Students will be allowed to come take pictures then leave and come back when the actual prom starts.  After students arrive for prom and have signed in, they will not be allowed to leave and come back.  Pictures begin at 5:00 for those who wish to have pictures taken before dinner then return when prom starts.  All juniors and seniors of Effingham County High School must have paid their junior dues in order to attend prom.  If both students who attend together are juniors or seniors then they will BOTH have to have paid their dues.  Students may park at the Whitaker Street parking garage for a fee of $5.00.  There will be security in the garage.  Directions to the garage are on the back of their tickets.

Our Mission
As a community of learners, in cooperation with stakeholders, our mission is to provide rigorous and relevant instruction in a safe environment to enable all students to obtain a high school diploma as a foundation for post secondary success.
A note from our Principal
What really matters is not so much what students at Effingham County High School walk away with in their hands, but how many sparks we ignite in their hearts. There’s no doubt students want inspiration more than they want stuff. The caring faculty member, not the content, determines whether students at our school walk away ignited or extinguished. Our faculty understands that the influence we have on children is powerful. Be it positive or negative, it is lasting. Read more
