Randy Shearouse

Randy Shearouse was appointed by the Effingham County School Board in July 2005.

Mr. Shearouse, an Effingham County native, plans to continue the tradition of excellence that has been established in this quickly growing school district.

Mr. Shearouse began his career in education in 1988 as a teacher at Effingham County High School after graduating from Georgia Southern University. He has also served the Effingham County School System as the principal at Effingham County High School for two years, following eight years as the principal at Sand Hill Elementary and three years as the assistant principal at Marlow Elementary. In addition to earning his Master of Education and Education Specialist degrees from Georgia Southern University, Mr. Shearouse is currently pursuing his Doctorate degree.
