  • The 2016 SES End of Year Title I Meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 17th in the SES Front Conference Room.  Parents may choose to attend either the 9am or 6pm meeting for their convenience.  We will review Title I policies from the current school year and provide parents an opportunity to offer input towards the development of next year’s policies. The meeting will focus on a review of the Parental Involvement Policy, School Compact, School Improvement Plan, and use of the 1% set aside funds as well as the development of those policies for the upcoming 2016-2017 school year.  We look forward to seeing you!

  • SES School Supply Collection
    Springfield Elementary School students are collecting school supplies as a Mentoring Moments service project. Each elementary school in the county has been invited to participate. Our school district will team with the United Way to deliver the supplies to South Carolina schools affected by the recent floods. Please feel free to drop off supplies at any elementary school. Gently used books are also greatly appreciated! View our flyer for more details.

    RE: Title IA, Federal Programs Host District End of the Year Meeting


    Effingham County Board of Education invites you to attend a Title I A, Federal Programs District End of the Year meeting to be held on Tuesday, May 10th at 6:00pm.  The goal of this meeting will be to provide parents and community members with information about the Effingham County School District’s federal programs and how each program functions in each of the Title I schools.


    In addition, attendees will receive information concerning parental involvement in our school system. All parents will be able to review and provide input for revisions to the District’s CLIP (Comprehensive LEA Improvement Plan) and the District’s Parent Involvement Plan. This meeting will be held at the Effingham County Board of Education in the Auditorium located at 405 North Ash Street in Springfield, GA. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Sandra W. In addition to quality instruction, SES provides thirty-one advanced technology classrooms. The students also benefit from two computer labs and several student computers in each classroom. A science lab is available for all hands-on learning experiences.
