Welcome to Effingham County Schools.
We are excited to have you join our school district. Effingham County Schools registers all students, new to Effingham County or those off roll for 10+ days, at our Central Registration Office. Students transferring from one Effingham County School to another without missing 10+ consecutive days of school may directly report to the new school without going through Central Registration.

Please call 912-754-2530 to make an appointment. Walk-ins will be seen as time becomes available between scheduled appointments. If registering to begin after a holiday or the first day of school, appointments are critical. Parents registering students the first day of school or first day after a holiday break without an appointment may experience long wait times.

Copies of registration forms are provided below. We encourage you to complete these forms on-line, print them, and bring them with you to the Central Registration Office.

In order to attend an Effingham County School, new students and their families must complete a Two-Step Process:

Step 1- Registration: Parents/guardians must visit the Central Registration Office to complete all required forms, provide the required documentation, and submit verification of the family's address. The family will register all of their school-aged children during this one visit. Students are not required to be present during registration.

Parents should call 912-754-2530 to schedule an appointment and must bring all required documentation to Central Registration at the time of the appointment.

Step 2 - Enrollment: After registering at the Central Registration Office, parents/guardians and students will visit the assigned school to enroll and obtain class assignments, schedules, and other information unique to the school. The family MUST present the unopened packet of forms given at Central Registration. Otherwise, the student cannot be enrolled. Central Registration does not maintain copies of completed forms and documents. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to transport these documents.

The following forms will be completed during your registration appointment. We encourage you to print and complete these documents prior to your arrival at the Central Registration Office. If you are unable to do so, copies will be provided for you to complete during your appointment.
Forms are in the Adobe PDF format unless otherwise noted. Get the latest free Adobe Reader and you can also fill them out online before you print them.
